What Happened Last Week?

At our SGN Global Leaders Series: Belief as a Competitive Edge In Conversation, Nir Eyal and Gretchen Rubin unpacked what it really takes to create lasting personal growth beyond the motivational soundbites. From why knowledge alone rarely drives action to how the stories we tell ourselves shape our outcomes, they reminded us that beliefs are tools, not fixed truths. They can be consciously reshaped to help us persist, take better risks, and unlock real progress.

As part of Launch Week for the NYC AI Landing Pad, we hosted our International Founders & Funders Happy Hour co-hosted with Lightspeed, NYCEDC, Anthropic! We had a great evening of candid conversations on building and scaling across borders with the inaugural NYC AI Landing Pad cohort, alongside SOSA’s ILPN cohort consisting of growth-stage AI founders visiting from across the globe!
