What Happened Last Week

We had an amazing fireside chat with Nick Gray, author of The 2-Hour Cocktail Party. We all learnt so much – from planning to execution – and took away some key points: host your events from Monday to Wednesday; observe the magic number of 15-22 people; and use the four-step secret recipe – Name tags (N), Icebreakers (I), Cocktail (C), and Kick people out (K) – NICK in short! To find out more, check out Nick's amazing book!

We also had the great pleasure of hosting Zoe Leavitt (web3 founder, ex-principal, AB InBev’s global investment group), and Agatha Kluk (Partner, Perkins Coie LLP, Exited Founder) for an inspirational female-founder fireside chat! What will female founders have to say to their younger selves? Zoe, “If you ever start justifying things to yourself, just get out. You will be able to find something better.” And succinctly for Agatha, “Take more risks.” We were so inspired!
