What Happened Last Week

Awesome takeaways from Google's Roza Chojnacka (Applied AI/ML Team Lead), Pai Zhu (Software Engineer in ML & NLP), and Kwok Jia Chuan (Global Policy Lead) at our Gen AI talk! A big shoutout to Two Sigma Ventures for co-hosting with us! One enticing tidbit for anyone contemplating a career change: prompt engineers have very lucrative entry-level salaries! (We even heard numbers like $500,000 being thrown around 😱.)

Sushi & momos at our AAPI VC happy hour event! 🍷 😋 Thank you, Lighter Capital and Yingjie Wang (Investor, 500 Startups), for co-hosting with us and bringing together the amazing AAPI investor community (and allies)!

A big shoutout to Rise, created by Barclays, Barclays Asian Professionals Resource Group, and Asian Hustle Network for co-hosting the AAPI Founded in NYC event with us! We had a fantastic time networking and learning from AAPI founders in Fintech and Food & Beverage industry! It's so heartwarming to see AAPIs uplifting other AAPIs and the community! 😍

What an exciting week for our community! We started with a thrilling board game night, followed by a tailor-made Happy Hour for Big Tech employees. Birce and friends explored a fantastic vegan cafe (next week, a Singaporean restaurant!). As the weekend arrived, our momo friends scattered from Tribeca to Storm King Art Centre, indulging in delightful culinary experiences and immersing themselves in captivating artistic encounters, all while enjoying great company!
