Welcome back to the office after the holidays 😁 We’ve reached 1,000+ sign-ups for our Great Gatsby FAANG++ holiday gala happening next Tuesday, with majority of attendees from companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, LinkedIn, Spotify. We’ll have fun sections including rooftop conversations with “fun topic cards”, singles room (green wristbands for the singles who want to mingle), co-founder connections, games, DJ (who happens to be a PM at JPM by day!!), $2,000+ worth of prizes, and more! Few spots left.

⭐ Year-end Singapore trip ⭐We have a group in the community travelling to Singapore the week of Dec 18-22, and we’ll have a complimentary private bus tour of the city including a lunch stop at Newton Food Center which was featured in Crazy Rich Asians. Not too late to join us!

⭐ Supermomos is hiring! ⭐ This opportunity will provide great exposure to the NYC tech community, learning about a range of tech topics, network-building, and doing everything at a start-up! You will get to dabble in almost every function except for engineering. Apply here! An ideal candidate is curious, capable, and hungry. Recent graduate with 0-3 years of work exp is preferred.

Attention Googlers! Women@ Google x Supermomos are hosting Empower Women at Google: with financial literacy insights from female founders & investors on November 29th. Join us for a fireside chat with incredible female founders & investors to gain perspective on personal finance. There will be light bites and mingling after the fireside chat session. This event is for Googlers only. Big thank you to Love, Bonito (global fashion brand - made by women, for women) for supporting women in tech!

ALL cultures and ethnicities are welcome to this friendsgiving feast celebrating international cultures! It will be held at a private social club in Tribeca. Join us this season for an unforgettable Friendsgiving Potluck that celebrates the diverse and delicious world of Southeast Asian cuisine and more! Come along and bring a dish that speaks to your heritage or your culinary curiosity. Whether it's a family recipe that's been passed down through generations or a new dish you've mastered, we invite you to share your culinary story. There will be a short session also for people to share what they brought and for us to learn more about dishes from all over the world 🙂

Tue, Dec 5, 7 PM: 🥂The FAANG++ Holiday Gala, brought to you by Supermomos - Win $2,000+ worth of prizes!

• Authentic conversation under the Stars: We are partnering with global women’s fashion brand and tech start-up Love, Bonito (raised $80M. they have a cool flagship store in Soho!) on a section with “fun topic cards” to facilitate authentic conversation and new friendships!

• Singles-only section: We are also joining forces with our all-time-favorite dating app Coffee Meets Bagel on a section that's exclusively for singles to mingle. There will be conversation cards to get to know potential dates better. Questions like… Would you rather never have to work again or never have to sleep again? 😂 (We will be giving out green/red/yellow wristbands for single/taken/complicated attendees) 👀

• Co-founder connections & Startup spitballing: Want to build a startup? Looking to find a co-founder? • Dance Party: Let loose on the dance floor to the rhythm of our very own DJ John Constantine who is a PM by day and DJ by night. So much talent in the community!!

As 2023 draws to a close, we invite you to an engaging evening that promises to be a blend of insight, inspiration, and networking. We will feature two distinguished speakers: Jennifer Tegan, Managing Director at New York Ventures, Empire State Development, and Natalie Lung, a Tech Reporter at Bloomberg News.

On New York Ventures: The NY state has devoted $100M –with an additional $35 million in SSBCI funding–to a direct investment venture capital fund that is actively deploying capital. The goal is to build a robust startup ecosystem across New York State, leveraging public and private sector assets.
